Bin cleaning for cafes, restaurants & food businesses

Food waste bins turn fast in Central Queensland heat. We keep yours clean so they don't attract pests or put off your customers.

Clean bins for busy kitchens

Food scraps, meat trays, oil and spilt drinks leave residue in your bins that starts to smell within hours in Central Queensland heat. Flies, cockroaches and rats aren't far behind. We bring our truck to your bins on collection day, pressure-wash and sanitise them, and leave your bin area fresher for staff, neighbours and customers.

We clean the 240L wheelie bins behind small cafes through to 660L and 1100L commercial bins and bulk bins up to 4m³ at restaurants, pubs and clubs. Our truck carries its own water and captures the dirty wash water in an onboard waste tank.

Why it matters

Why food businesses keep their bins clean

Fewer pests

Food residue is what draws flies, cockroaches and rodents. Clean bins take away the attraction.

Better first impressions

Customers often walk past your bins on the way in, or sit near them outside. Fresh bins keep the smell away from dining areas.

A schedule that suits

Most food businesses choose weekly or fortnightly cleans on collection day. We'll recommend a schedule based on how much food waste you produce.

What the Food Standards Code says. Standard 3.2.3 requires food premises to have garbage storage that keeps pests and animals away where necessary and is designed so it can be "easily and effectively cleaned". Queensland Health adds that waste storage "must not provide a breeding ground for pests". Regular professional bin cleaning helps you stay on top of both. It supports your own cleaning program for the bin area; it doesn't replace it.

Before & after

Food business bin cleaning FAQs

How often should a restaurant or cafe clean its bins?

It depends on how much food waste you produce. Busy kitchens usually need weekly cleaning, especially over summer. Smaller cafes often manage with fortnightly. We'll suggest a schedule when we quote.

Will clean bins help with a food safety inspection?

Environmental health officers check that waste storage keeps pests away and can be kept clean. Regular professional cleaning helps you stay on top of that between inspections, but it doesn't replace your own cleaning program for the bin area.

Do you need to come into the kitchen?

No. We clean bins where they're stored or at the kerb on collection day. Our truck carries its own water and captures the dirty wash water in an onboard waste tank.

What size bins do you clean?

240L wheelie bins, 660L and 1100L commercial bins, and bulk bins up to 4m³. Commercial bins are quoted per bin, with bulk rates for larger numbers.
